This 12" features the unreleased mix of the Joubert Singers' "Stand On The Word" which was a favorite at the Garage, Loft and Zanzibar clubs, as played by Levan, Mancuso, and others. The track was originally recorded at the First Baptist Church in Crown Heights back in '82 and was pressed only for the congregation. Walter Gibbons was in his born again Christian faze so he managed to get a copy
