This is a wine of texture and persistence, and you feel its silky effects on the palate for many minutes. It spreads wide and deep, revealing savory flavors of spice, licorice and a metallic touch of iron. The alcohol content is a bit much at 15%, but there is enough texture here to soften its effects. Some 40,000 bottles were
