This is a very scarce Style 1 Japanese dirk from the World War II period, the first we have ever offered. This is a Japanese police (sergeants) dirk, circa 1900 1945. This example has a lovely wire wrapped rayskin grip and an original scabbard with working scabbard lock. The backstrap of the hilt bears a lovely police flower emblem.
