This is a very good condition, WWI Era Belgian Leather fire helmet, very reminiscent of the German fire helmets in use at the time. It features a rigid pressed leather body, with brass fit leather front and rear visors. It has a very nice brass top comb, as well as a front plate showing the standard long fire axes and the number 4, probably for the 4th Brigade. The Lion motifs on the helmet indicate that it is
