This is one of the most tremendous lanterns we have ever offered, a Colonial period personal punched tin lantern with a blown glass lens and retained candle. The construction is very crude and evident of the period, completely handmade with the original candle inside. The top of the lantern has a small hinge and latch to open and close the compartment, which shows very heavy oxidation but still works great. The glass has
