British WWII Vickers MMG Cork Plug Assembly DP-28 LMG who as Field Marshall SirNew Made Item: Every Vickers gun was supplied with a plug assembly to close the steam escape tube when the gun is not firing. The assembly consists of a brass spindle with ring handle, a chain and hooks to attach the assembly to the water jacket stud, a cork plug, and a brass collar to retain the cork on the spindle. Many Vickers parts kits and dummy guns are missing this assembly.
