This is a USN Mark 2 Style fighting knife with a post war leather scabbard. The knife itself has no markings and has no inspection stamp, but retains its darkened finish. The grip of the knife is in good shape as well and shows some service use. The scabbard appears to be a post war civilian style piece paired with the knife post war. This is a great WWII style knife ready for further research and display.
