This is a beautifully made small 7 shot

The helmet is fitted with a small hole “shrimp net” style helmet net which was a somewhat common practice with GIs cutting pieces from larger vehicle nets to use to assist in camouflaging the helmet

which is the later style

This is a lovely & hard to find WWII tan officers garrison cap for an officer in the Glider Artillery of the Airborne. There is a period applied Glider artillery patch on the right side, with officer black gold piping on the cap. The piping of this example seems standard without any serious loss. The sweatband shows minor service wear with a size tag for 7 . A great example, ready for further research and display.
