This is a very scarce captured Spanish cockade off of an officers hat, taken by an American soldier during the Spanish American War. The cockade measures 2 x 2 . Captured items from the Spanish American War are difficult to come by due to the short lived nature of the war and lower numbers of troops as compared with WWI and WWII. This is a great souvenir taken from a Spanish officer which shows the patina and wear of
