F. on the chamber and 38 CAL on the feed block, with a 24" octagonal barrel and full length magazine tube. Features the classic front sight and an iconic aftermarket "buckhorn" rear adjustable sight. The serial number is 318866B denoting the year of manufacture as 1889. The engraving on the top of the barrel
