I gather vinyl records from salvage yards, second hand shops and refuse centres. Places where they would have been disposed of and destroyed. I turn them into art pieces, and can add a clock mechanism in some designs. After cutting, they are filed back smooth, and washed in warm soapy water to remove any marks.
