though there has been a repair to the right side of the hinge

which was very common during the Civil War Era

and on both wood grip scales

This is a very interesting painted piece of Masonite dating to World War II, which is painted with the depiction of a Brawler style man with fists at his sides and smoking a cigar. This came from a large collection of PT Boat related items, so we believe it to be depicting the mascot for a PT boat, but due to its obscurity, we couldnt find any matches online. The masonite measures 9 x 11 and is ready to mount on the wall.
