This is basically a 9" lid. 8 7 8 is the actual diameter of the outer edge of the inner ring or lip. The inner measurement of your pot would need to be at least 8 7 8 but no greater than 9 1 4, I would think based on my measurements. LID ONLY! Inner zig zag drip design on inside.
