This is an exceptional example of a genuine Medic British Mark 1 steel helmet that is named and dated 1942. The stamping on the underside of the rim reads: AG C MK1 E13 1942 There is a name written in heavy pencil along the underside the the rim that reads: McLeod M R81343 The paint appears to be original as do the medic red crosses on four sides of the helmet. Liner is in excellent condition and the chin strap shows
